TROIKA 2023 WELCOMES YOU!

Pep up yourself again, TROIKA 2023 is here!

Ah, it is already that time of the year again, huh? The air has been charging up with this familiar excitement buzzing all around the campus these days.

Oh, silly me! I always forget about my introduction! Well, I am the Mother Tree (yes, the big banyan tree in the middle of the campus) and I’m here to happily announce the return of one of my most beloved events.

Troika, a single word that embodies passion, devotion and creation is one of the most happening events in Pune. If I am the heart of BMCC, then Troika is the soul.

This year also marks the return of a completely offline Troika, for the first time in two years.

And then for those past two years of the pandemic where I missed the laughter of students and their sitting under my shade, I thought that Troika would be a far-fetched dream then. To me it was a surprise last year that I saw those enthusiastic 195 organizers working towards expanding Troika’s reach beyond the boundaries of our country where we had participants from the USA and Philippines. Despite all the

hardships, the Troika family found a way to manage more than 1300 participants.

Now Let’s talk about The 13th edition

AQUA | IGNIS | TERRA

Wow! The theme itself is so enthralling. It is simple yet equally of great significance. Aqua Ignis and Terra are three of the major five elements of existence.

I heard the reason for choosing these three elements is that TROIKA signifies trinity.

These three elements are eternal, so is TROIKA.

The water-like calmness and mindfulness of literary events, the ferocious spirit of sports events, and the land-like rigid adventures and exploration of the entertainment events make the fest – Grand.

Can you imagine a life without these three elements? No, right? Similar to how I cannot imagine BMCC without TROIKA.

Let’s celebrate Aqua, Ignis, and Terra this year.

LOGO is the representative of every event. It shows the creativity and thoughtfulness of the creator. Being able to visualize the whole meaning, just by looking at it, is the job of a logo.

The event focuses on three major elements WATER, FIRE and LAND and they intend to picture them together in the logo in such a way that an individual connects to it and understands it.

Now that you’ve read all about their plans for this year, we all are very eager to have everyone back on campus with us to witness another great year of success for Troika.
