Sharing Joy, Bridging Generations

As the Mother Tree, I’ve witnessed countless seasons, each teaching me the beauty of connection. On 17 November 2024, I watched with pride as my Troika family visited Swarna Vihar Retirement Home, carrying my essence of compassion and unity.

Swarna Vihar, a haven of wisdom and stories, came alive with songs that transcended time, and dances that filled the air with joy. The resident’s voices and smiles were like sunlight through my branches, reminding us all of life’s shared rhythms.

As the Mother Tree, I watched with pride as one of Troika’s core members recited a heartfelt poem about the journey of life. Their words captured the essence of joy, struggle, and hope, resonating deeply with everyone present. Adding to the magic, two other core members sang beautiful songs. Their harmonious voices filled the room, creating a sense of warmth and connection.

Simple gestures, roses and letters sparked moments of profound connection. Yet, it was the heartfelt conversations that moved me most, as my family listened to the resident’s stories with open hearts, bridging generations with love and laughter.

Listening to the elders share their stories was a quiet but powerful experience. Their wisdom, humor, and memories painted a picture of lives full of love and lessons. The younger ones, in turn, shared their energy and curiosity, and it felt like a bridge was being built, one conversation at a time.
